Work performance - Self belief, managing work stress & delivering your best

Sometimes in our work & professional lives we come against scenarios that push us to our limits. And sometimes beyond.


I bring over 30 years experience working in top tier companies including P&G , Kraft / Mondelez and Harrods. I've also launched successful start-up businesses and have coached many teams within them.  So I've personally seen and experienced the pressure that goes with performing in high pressure, high performance roles.  

And now have developed programmes to help effectively and quickly address any challenges.


Perhaps a change in your work scope or a promotion has moved you  out of your comfort zone. Or that change in scope has significantly increased your workload and  stress levels. And for some this means we cannot help but carry that stress and anxiety home with us.


 I have successfully help them overcome a range of issues impacting their work performance and for some, also their life outside of work.

Many of us feel nerves when speaking to groups or to people that we do not know well. But sometimes these can escalate into panic attacks or a desire to avoid these situations. Hypnotherapy can directly address and re-frame that situation , leaving you 

calmer and more confident


Set and reach stretching career goals :   I've always believed in working towards personal goals and can use that coaching experience alongside hypnosis to bake in those aims. 

Beat Imposter Syndrome

I've broken out here a separate section on Imposter Syndrome as this an area I am seeing many clients reporting this past year or so. 

And it's across age groups, whether it is 40-50-somethings who are advanced in their career, women returning to their career after children or 20-somethings with work anxiety.


Managing Imposter Syndrome : When our self belief drops to a point when we feel like we are incapable of doing our job, perhaps despite colleague's positive comments or even if you have been hand-selected for that position, then we are encountering imposter syndrome. 


My 6-session programme helps to quickly enable you to control those negative and self-critical thought processes and to build back your confidence. Often I will also use clinical hypnotherapy to address any negative templates that might be stored in your mind.  For example, perhaps if you encountered a particularly toxic work environment or critical manager in a previous role. Our brains can hang on to that experience and make moving forward positively difficult to do with willpower alone, even for the most talented and determined person.


Overcoming Work anxiety: I'd like to share the story here of a client Kate [Name changed], who came to me with travel anxiety - she became fearful of her commute, of the train journey and then the underground. Working in London, this made her daily routine incredibly difficult, setting off at 5am to drive or avoid crowds.

In our initial meetings, I was able to establish that it was the arrival of a new Manager that marked the start of this issue (rather than a fear of transport per se). 


And actually it was Kate's anxiety at work and lack of any positive support from the new Manager that was the core issue. Her mind was 'using' the travel fear as a way to maximise her working at home days and as an avoidance strategy to not have to go into the office.


Through both solution-focused sessions and hypnotherapy, Kate was able to travel calmly again and also able to address the negative self-talk and scenarios that her mind had created around work. As well as to ask for more balanced feedback from her Manager.
