Your wellbeing, confidentiality and ensuring all your questions are answered are our top priorities when working together.
There are Terms & Conditions below that help us to deliver a smooth and effective service for you and other clients. When you agree to start sessions, a full version of this will be emailed over to you and this forms part of the Client Agreement signed in the first meeting.
If there are broader questions, please do get in touch with me or take a look at the FAQs here
Scope of Services
You acknowledge that hypnotherapy is a complementary therapy and as such should not replace medical treatment or a medical consultation with your GP or other qualified practitioner.
I can not provide a diagnosis or any form of medical advice.
We will recommend referral for all matters outside of the scope of our role as therapy providers.
Provision of personal information
As part of the Initial consultation, we will discuss any relevant medical background to our treatment and scope. This includes any mental health diagnosis and medication you have been prescribed by your GP or medical professional. It is important that these questions are answered fully and transparently, to guide our treatment plan.
Client confidentiality and Privacy Policy
Our work together is confidential and will not be discussed with others unless
- You have requested that in our initial meetings [this will be documented and signed by you]. E.g. to share with your GP or a carer or a relative or family member
- I believe that you are about to harm yourself or others, in which case all medical professionals are legally bound to seek assistance for you
- Anonymised [ie without your name] I may discuss and take advice from my Professional Supervisor [who also maintains confidentiality]
Please see the full detailed Privacy policy at the end of this section
Booking Terms and agreed fees
At the end of our Initial Consultation , we will discuss a treatment plan and first appointment.
· I will clarify and confirm the fees for that programme ; this will also be sent to you via email and /or WhatsApp
· We ask for payment to be made via bank transfer at least 24 hours before each session commences. This confirms that booking. If payment is not received, I may follow up with you and /or release the booking. From experience, this avoids the need to spend therapy time discussing fees or chasing payments or similar admin, which neither of us want to do
o This also means that funds are held to cover any cancellation terms below
· The vast majority of our clients pay for clusters of sessions in packages, which gives around 10% discount and also minimises admin on both sides
o Payment for ‘packages’ [eg 5 sessions for £xx] are discounted and is required in a one off transfer before the first session. Please note that packages cannot be refunded part way through
Cancellations & No-show policy
I try to be as flexible and transparent as possible with our clients; equally we would ask for the same in return. We are a busy practice and rely on a full schedule in our opening times. Cancelling less than 24 hours before leaves us little chance to fill slots. So we have a few rules around this, as with most therapists;
We ask for 24 hours notice to re-schedule appointments; 48 hours for in-home or non-Guildford locations
· Full cancellation of a treatment requires 72 hours notice
· Within those time periods , we reserve the right to charge for the missed session(s)
No show [i.e. not being at a pre-booked session]
Online / remote sessions
See tips within FAQs below to help prepare for an effective online hypnotherapy session.
Please note that as we cannot control your home environment or disruption due to internet quality, noise distractions etc, it is your responsibility as the client to ensure set up is done ahead of the booked session time. https://rewiredtherapy.co.uk/faqs
