Sports performance

Hypnosis and visualisation are now widely used across all levels of sport. Whether it is MBA basketball teams , pro-Tour players, England rugby stars honing their kicking or amateur golfers or tennis players improving their mental game, these techniques are now a key part of winning athletes programme.


Training your brain to a winning mindset

Often people focus on the physical side of their sport, on technique and their fitness - with the mental side of it left as a footnote. 

Even at the amateur level though, having that positive mindset- being able to learn & bounceback from defeats  or difficult situations- cannot be under estimated.

And at the more elite level, that confidence and mindset can be the difference between victory and defeat.

I help athletes at all levels to improve their performance,  addressing psychological 'blocks' , enhancing their mental conditioning and mindset to;


  • Improve particular aspects of their game : specific shots, dealing with high pressure matches etc
  • Reducing Stress and negative projections :  managing down stress and performance anxiety, both ahead of and during competition. 
  • Improve focus and keeping in 'flow':  helping athletes relax & focus during practice and competition. 
  • Concentration & Goal reinforcement:  we work together to define your best hopes and a clear view of the outcome. By speaking directly into our sub conscious mind, we can then reinforce those goals and the steps to achieve them
  • Boost Self-confidence and motivation :Often re-building self-confidence, after defeat or an issue, is a main focus. 
  • Pain control & body awareness: much of our awareness of pain is governed through our brain's receptors and we can 'train' this reaction and how our sub-conscious mind responds.

Sometimes in our work & professional lives we come against scenarios that push us to our limits. And sometimes beyond.

Many of us feel nerves when speaking to groups or to people that we do not know well. But sometimes these can escalate into panic attacks or a desire to avoid these situations. Hypnotherapy can directly address and re-frame that situation , leaving you

Manage Imposter syndrome : When our self belief drops to a point when we feel like we are incapable of doing our job, perhaps despite colleague's comments  or being selected for it, then we are encountering imposter syndrome. Our approach helps to quickly enable you to control those negative and self-critical thought processes and to build back your confidence


Managing work stress : our relaxation  programme focusses on nightly audios , reducing your 'stress bucket' and helping you regain positive control of your life.



Set and reach stretching career goals :  I bring over 30 years experience working within top tier companies including P&G , Kraft / Mondelez and Harrods. As well as launching successful start-up businesses and coaching teams through those phases. I've always believed in working towards personal goals and can use that coaching experience alongside hypnosis to bake in those aims.

Tackling exam nerves and school confidence

Exams at GCSE , A Level  or at University or college can create major anxiety for students. This can become debilitating over the many months of preparation and revision. I'll work with you with proven techniques to reduce the levels of anxiety, to help reframe the exam challenge and to boost confidence.

I've successfully helped younger students [aged 16-23] to achieve their aims , as well as mature students.

At work, we might find a return to the classroom challenging, but it is often required to develop our expertise and to advance our career

If this is causing you anxiety, or perhaps to suffer panic attacks and not retain content, we can help. Within 4-5 sessions we help people beat those fears. 


The University of Chicago's psychology lead set up three groups of elite Basketball players. The 1st physically practiced free throws each day. The 2nd group only visualised making the free throws . The 3rd did nothing. After 30 days, the 1st group improved by +24%, but the second by 23%...
